ICON (Iowa Courses Online) is the Learning Management System at the University of Iowa, and is primarily powered by Canvas.
With ICON, instructors can create, edit, and deliver online learning resources for their courses.

Getting Started with ICON
The Getting Started guide for instructors introduces ICON’s basic user interface, navigation tools, and how to manage your account settings. With ICON, instructors can create, host, and edit online learning resources. ICON contains a flexible suite of tools for creating custom content.
The Getting Started guide for students covers basic computer specifications as well as ICON’s basic user interface, navigation tools, and how to manage your account settings from the student perspective.
