Upcoming Events & Trainings

LST is offering scheduled classroom A/V and technology trainings.

Our session, "University Classroom Technology and Introducing Solstice," is an hour-long introduction into University Classroom technology and an opportunity to use Solstice, a wireless collaboration tool now equipped in over 300 classrooms. We cover the basics of classroom support, and instructional tools such as the microphone, webcam, and document camera. Plus, an opportunity to experience Solstice firsthand and its ability to share smart phones and laptops wirelessly in the classroom.

The technology found in University Classrooms is ever evolving and we are excited to share with you the many changes taking place. To find and enroll in a session, you may visit the UI Employee Self-Service site, or please visit the Events link below:

Scheduling a Classroom

Classroom Scheduling is managed by the Registrar's Office which schedules a variety of classrooms throughout campus, including lecture halls, discussion rooms, seminar rooms, and TILE rooms.

LST welcomes requests for learning space tours. In order to best accommodate requests, we recommend they occur during summer or semester breaks, and be at least two weeks in advance of the requested time frame.
